"One Night Can Change a Lifetime: Help Us Fight Homelessness Together"
This year, I’m participating in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise funds and awareness for homelessness in Australia. For one night, I’ll be sleeping outdoors with nothing but a sleeping bag, gaining a small sense of the daily struggles faced by thousands of Australians.
Funds raised through this event go to the St Vincent de Paul Society, helping provide emergency accommodation, food, healthcare, and long-term support for those in need. I particularly love the way this initiative demonstrates the heart of great leadership which in my mind is service and authenticity - walking the talk, being willing to live and see things through another’s perspective and leaving one’s own comfort zone to do so.
